Your first dance night

Notes for Beginners

Thinking about trying Salsa, Bachata or Kizomba? You do not need experience, a partner or perfect timing — just bring yourself and a willingness to have fun.

Everything you need to know

Come as you are

Wear comfortable clothes that let you move. Shoes with a smooth sole are helpful, but trainers are completely fine for your first workshop.

No partner needed

Lots of people arrive on their own. We rotate partners during the workshop, so everyone has a chance to practise and meet people.

Start with the beginners workshop

Weekly Salsa and bachata beginners are two weeks workshops set. First week basic steps, second week partner work If you feel you need more time at beginners Workshop feel free to do so Our instructors break each movement down step by step. There is no pressure to get it right straight away — dancing is learned one beat at a time.

Arrive a little early

Give yourself a few minutes to settle in, meet the team and ask any questions before the workshop starts.

Keep it light

Bring water, take breaks when you need them and enjoy the music. The aim is to leave feeling happier than when you arrived.
